The book commemorates the centenary of the inauguration of the Gran Vía del Ensanche in Ejea de los Caballeros (1919) and traces the urban evolution of this town in the province of Zaragoza from its historical origins to contemporary challenges, bringing together contributions from several authors—including Javier Lambán, Jesús Sarría, Mariano Berges, Rafael Martínez and Juana Teresa Guilleme—who analyse urban development from cultural, technical and political perspectives. The reviewer highlights the documentary richness of the volume, structured in three parts covering historical urbanism, twentieth-century urbanism and the present day, accompanied by an extensive collection of photographs, illustrations and plans.
