The streets are daily catwalks where fashion trends converge. This phenomenon, far from being a passing fad, has turned cities into veritable ephemeral stages where major brands can showcase their proposals in a wider environment than the traditional events. In the past, this practice was mainly reserved for small brands that did not have access to the events and platforms of the fashion weeks. However, post-pandemic restrictions have led to more open-air shows, turning squares and streets into ideal venues. Today, major fashion houses have adopted this format, sparking a debate about the privatisation of public space. This trend represents a redefinition of the relationship between the fashion industry and the urban environment, highlighting the tension between accessibility and exclusivity.
