ZOE-BÍOS proyecto para una biografía de la ciudad antigua

En este ensayo intento una aproximación hermenéutica a la hipótesis de una biografía de los espacios históricos: históricos, no solo porque albergaron y fueron el escenario de grandes hazañas –en el más estricto sentido herodotiano- sino también porque la parte de vida que en ellos se ha derramado, escribiéndolos, visitándolos, estudiándolos…soñándolos… desde otros espacios –algunos muy lejanos- tiene, metafóricamente, el carácter que en los sujetos toma el nombre de “biografía”. Además, tomado en su dimensión general, holística, también cabría una consideración sobre la Vida, que entraña toda vida individual. Para este propósito parto de la etimología de dos palabras griegas: ??? (Z??) que connota la vida en general. Esa Z?? (cósmico-natural) se manifestaba a los sentidos del poeta, del filósofo y del político como ???? (bíos) –vida individual- huella de ese todo de la Z?? que se refleja en lo mikro como en un espejo. Llegado a este punto, propongo una biografía de Estambul –pasando por Sumer- como una ciudad griega leída por el Cristianismo y el Islam. En esta escritura se cruzan estilos y géneros: notas de viaje, ensayo histórico-hermenéutico y prosa poética.
